This time last year myself and a highly dedicated

This time last year myself and a highly dedicated team of massively talented creatives were eyeballs deep into making sure this wedding event was the most epic collaboration we had ever put together. And it was.

Over the next couple of days, to celebrate the 1 year Anniversary of Everhart In Love: Ron+Gavin, I’ll be using this platform to share highlights of all the gorgeous details of that day, behind the scenes with the creatives and highlighting all the amazing vendors that gave their invaluable time and resources to host the best party in celebration of an unforgettable wedding and beautiful marriage.

This gorgeous day was held just days before we were all told to stay home so we could keep each other safe. So these images and memories are even more special now and should be celebrated. Thank you for coming here and allowing me to share what inspires me and keeps me going. I continue to be inspired by our community of creatives. And in this wild time I truly believe it will be this part of community that carries us straight into the light with all the good and new things we have to look forward to again...like the celebration of togetherness. I crafted a Vday inspired light installation for f

I crafted a Vday inspired light installation for fun but also to cover a light fixture I want to hide. I used a wreath ring and doorway party steamer panels. ❤️

Our new fixture won’t arrive until sometime in March. So this will stay up until then. And honestly, the night time ambiance is pretty stellar. 🧡

ps. My children are arguing in the video about how to spell the characters of Frozen. I couldn’t figure out how to turn off sound in a slide show. Sorry bout that. 🖤

We have all carried more on our backs these last 1

We have all carried more on our backs these last 10 months than ever before. But the most simple and true moments feel like the load is lighter. Super grateful for my creative community and my group text threads that have carried me through this past year on all the hard days. Have concluded that being an artist, running a business, and having a family are not mutually exclusive. I know that I am just an artist living a creative life in a world that needs more inspiration while on this constant quest for truth.

Thank you to my boss babe squad, you know who you are and I love SO much!

Currently hiding in my room from all responsibilit

Currently hiding in my room from all responsibilities and soaking up a big time out! I feel like these last 10 months seem like 10 years. Anyone else bc I know it can’t just be me?!

While chilling out I decided to clean up my camera roll and got distracted by how many photos I have in my phone(19k+). I know.

But found these cozy shots I took of my friend @chalajan/@chalaimagery’s house at some point in 2020. Of course I adore and appreciate seeing my VKD throws and pillows she has in her space but truly obsessed and inspired by her geometric wall she had recently painted. Swipe to see more of this cozy room plus the gorgeous and fluid transition of color play from one room to another. Totally gorgeous and feeling all these vibes and colors today!

Sharing a before and after from the master bedroom

Sharing a before and after from the master bedroom. It’s a small room with an entire bay window wall, and two other walls with doorways leaving the only solid wall sandwiched between the walls with doors. So our bed had to go in front of the window wall. We achieved this by installing a ceiling mount double curtain rod that holds a layer of steel velvet black out curtains and layer of sheers to filter in natural light during the day but still providing privacy. The metal blinds were removed as well which opened the windows up and allows more light to filter through.

I had the entire house painted in Alabaster White which is soft, creamy white different from my cool, crisp white palette at the Olive St House. I’m choosing to accent with whites, greys, black and pops of color throughout the house. Our pop in the master bedroom is golden yellows. 💛

Still debating my headboard from either doing a black and natural velvet houndstooth fabric or hand painting or dying...keep you posted.

Late to post a Merry Christmas but just wasn’t i

Late to post a Merry Christmas but just wasn’t in the mindset to be on here or post anything. We had a super low key and beautiful holiday. Sharing these photos from our annual traditional cookie bake. I made them as a child. This year over three days the kids were able to help make the dough, cut out, bake, make the icing, decorate, hand select for friends and family to put into boxes, then safely hand deliver them.

For the cookie box cards I chose “We’ve Got This” artwork from @mer_mag bc there couldn’t be a more perfect message right now. She has this print available for digital purchase thru her page link.
We have it hanging in our kitchen to see everyday.

Hello again from my favorite nook in our house. It

Hello again from my favorite nook in our house. It’s the lighting in this room and the mixture of old and new bringing this look and overall feel together. My Dad hung the art ledges, the artworks are mine plus some white modern tile squares salvaged from the garbage(that’s right, the garbage!) I also love our modern industrial metal shelving and our buddy the Rhino (bought myself for Xmas maybe 4 years ago @lavishbodyhome). The vintage rocker was gifted from my neighbor who is an awesome thrifter/estate sale hunter and I restored it and made new cushions with VKD fabrics. My Grandfather built the cherry wood credenza that was in my Grandparents dining room my whole life and love that it now is somewhere we see everyday. (He built it from a cherry tree on their property). The Christmas decorations are a mixture of vintage family pieces with homemade, handmade and new random finds. The stockings I made when pregnant with L. My Xmas color scheme is always white, black, wood (bc it’s a color and texture) and pops of red. And I guess grey always makes its way into somehow too! 🎄❤️🎄
